You might've heard the slogan "People make Glasgow" but people in Glasgow also make great good! I decided to put together a wee list of my fav places to eat in Glasgow! šŸ“

Favourite Pizza šŸ•

Paesano

Has to be Paesano! If you enjoy Neapolitan pizza at very reasonable prices this is the place for you. They have a branch in the centre and one in the west end so all your pizza needs are covered! The desserts are great too, I'm a big fan of the soft serve ice cream with raspberry sauce! šŸ„°

Favourite Pasta šŸ

Sugo

Sugo is run by the same people who brought us Paesano. It has a very similar vibe but instead of delish pizza, they have delish pasta! Much like Paesano, they also do yummy desserts. I once had a slice of cheesecake here with ice cream. If you're a big pasta fan it's defo one to check out if you haven't already.

Favourite Mexican/s šŸŒ®

ā™” El Jefe's

ā™” Topolobamba

ā™” Mezcal

ā™” Sacred Tum Tacos

There's too many good ones to choose from! I narrowed it down as much as I could. You'll find Mezcal and Topolobamba in the centre, El Jefe's in the west end and Sacred Tum Tacos on the southside! Amazing food and good vibes all across the board. If you want to leave a restaurant stuffed and loving life, these are the places to hit up. One place I haven't tried yet but have been meaning to is Las Iguanas, which I've heard is very good!

Favourite Donuts šŸ©

Tantrum Doughnuts

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind when it comes to this category (shock). Tantrum now have 3 locations to choose from! My fav donuts are the crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e and the one with the chocolate filling. Can't really go wrong with any of them though. You can also get them personalised with a message with is a really cute idea for a donut enthusiast!

Favourite South Asian Food šŸ„¢

ā™” Mamasan

ā™” Little Hoi An

Mamamsan do a variety of South Asian inspired food, including Vietnamese and Thai food! The decor is super cool and the food is fab, they also do cool cocktails.

Little Hoi An is a Vietnamese restaurant on the southside. I love the decor/vibe, it feels really homely and cute. The food is amazing too!

Favourite Churros šŸ«

Loop and Scoop

The only pic I have from Loop and Scoop!! Taken during the pandemic in summer 2020

I'm a tad obsessed with churros, ngl. I'm definitely a dessert person but it depends on what's on the menu. If I see churros I know exactly what I'm getting! If you too can appreciate some good churros (and ice cream) I hiiiiighly recommend Loop and Scoop if you're in the west end.

Favourite Coffee ShopĀ ā˜•ļø

Tinderbox

I haven't tried thaaat many coffee places in Glasgow in fairness so I'm far from an aficionado on this topic, but whenever I'm in the centre I usually come here to reenergise with a cup of tea or a coffee and usually some form of sweet treat! I don't know what it is about Princes Square that kind of makes me feel like I'm on holiday/abroad! I really enjoy the atmosphere!

Favourite Bit of Everything šŸ˜‹

Dockyard Social

Dockyard Social is a really fun place to go to, it's an indoor venue (ideal cause Scottish weather is often unpredictable) and there's a variety of different food stalls you can choose from. I've actually only been once (regrettably! Would love to go again) and got an absolutely unreal burger and surprise surprise, churros for dessert.
